7 Things Absolutely Not To Do When Visiting Australia

No doubt Australia is one of the most remote, fascinating, beautiful and highly developed countries in the world. Blessed with incalculable natural wonders, plenty of wildlife, dazzling beaches, cosmopolitan metropolises, and large expanses of outback, it's a complete travel destination.
From sightseeing and plenty of natural aquatic delight, surfing to others excellent adventure activities there is nothing you can't experience in Australia.
However you should avoid doing this things while travelling in here.

1. Do not ignore the beach flags and warnings.
Australian beach can be very dangerous. They have strong currents and can drag you out to sea frighteningly quickly. Always swim between the red and yellow flag, take note of any warning sign. Don't be over smart and over confident, listen to the lifeguard.
Also, be aware shark swim along the coastal lines and you may get seriously hurt. Besides, there are other poisonous aquatic lives you should be aware of.



2. Do not forget your sunscreen or insect repellent
The sun is extremely brutal in Australia. It can burn you in minutes and takes weeks to recover. It is also advised to spray insect repellent during twilight and at night, due to the large amounts of mosquitoes and creepy crawlies!



3. Do not litter, spit or smoke in prohibited area
It will be considered as anti-social behaviour, especially at beach or natural environment. So avoid smoking in public places and prohibited zones, you can find bins all around to dispose your rubbish.

4. Do not compare what's in Australia to what you have at home

6. Avoid driving at night if you can, thats when the wildlife tend to be on the roads.


7. Respect all cultures/religion
Australia is a multicultural and diverse country and it is considered anti-social if you do not respect all religion and cultures.
