Scientists have named a parasite after Barack Obama. A tiny hair thin parasitic flat worm that lives in turtles' blood is named Baracktrema obamai. Thomas Platt who gives this name says, it's an honour, not an insult. Really.
He told people pays thousands of dollars for the privilage of having a species named after them.
